Jensen's SC-595 universal remote control operates 10 devices: TV, VCR, cable, CD player, satellite, audio receiver, DVD player, WebTV, and two auxiliary devices (additional gear from the above list). The SC-595 uses radio frequency transmission, which lets you control equipment in other rooms--through walls and floors--with a range up to 100 feet.

A home theater surround sound key cluster provides easy operation of surround receivers and listening levels. In satellite mode, the home theater key cluster functions as a satellite control key cluster, providing easy navigation through digital satellite system programming.

Multiple-device power controls lets you power on or off for up to five devices at once, while the menu control grants you onscreen programming of the TV, VCR, and DVD player.

The SC-595's extensive library of codes contains over 130 TV brands, over 100 VCR brands, over 60 cable brands, over 40 satellite brands, over 60 audio receiver brands, over 70 CD brands, 14 DVD brands, and 3 WebTV brands. The Jensen SC-595 controls up to 10 system devices - more than any other pre-programmed remote control. This remote is equipped with radio frequency, which enables you to control operations from other rooms, through walls and through floors. The keypad consists of 36 component keys, plus 5 component selection buttons and an "Action" key that works like a shift key to provide a second level of functions on each button (which will shut off after 8 seconds of inactivity). Dedicated transport, volume, cursor and keypad sections are included. A Home Theater Surround Sound and Home Theater Key Cluster system provide easy operation of receivers and volume control, control of satellite system and navigation through DSS programming.
